The major problem on the BUZ seems to be the PCI-PCI Bridge. 
IOMEGA had alreddy developed a BUZ Pro, but that was never released. :-/

Usually the AMD chipsets work quite reliabel.

The BUZ works half perfect with the CVS zoran drivers. I use a 2.4.21
Kernel (from Kernel.org). One problem is that the video is only shown if
the xawtv image size is lowererd to 6x6. And while recording the window
is updated not to often. Both problems might be related to the Matrox
G550 or the Adaptec SCSI adapter I use. 

The recording works very reliable. 

Currently I have really problems recording from the SB-Life using OSS.
That doesn't work.
