Hi, a few days ago, I just downloaded the cvs-relaese of driver-zoran. I was surprised beacause a lot improvement was done ;-))! congratulations to the developers.
With my dc19old on my P200MMX, I used lavrec successfully. But If I try to play the frame with lavplay, here comes the problem. Software playback is ok : # lavrec -p S -a 0 knot.avi It is slow, but it works. Hardware playback does not work . # lavplay -n 128 -p C -a 0 knot.avi lavplay1.6.1 lavtools version 1.6.1 next I wait for about 30 seconds, and then I can see the top left of the screen altered by something like an image (see attached) . Next nothing more, and finaly, after some time, **ERROR: [lavplay] Error syncing on a buffer: Timer expired #dmesg : DC10(old)[0]: zoran_open(lavplay, pid=[19742]), users(-)=0 DC10(old)[0]: dc10_init() DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - sleep GPIO=0x21008888 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - wake GPIO=0x25008888 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - wake GPIO=0x2d008888 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - sleep GPIO=0x2b008888 DC10(old)[0]: enable_jpg(IDLE) DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_REQBUFS - count=128, size=143360 DC10(old)[0]: mmap(MJPEG) of 0x4042c000-0x4088c000 (size=4587520) DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_G_PARAMS DC10(old)[0]: VIDIOCGCAP DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_S_PARAMS DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=0 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - wake GPIO=0x27008888 DC10(old)[0]: enable_jpg(MOTION_DECOMPRESS) DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_start DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=1 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=2 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=3 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=4 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=5 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=6 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=7 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=8 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=9 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=10 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=11 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=12 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=13 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=14 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=15 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=16 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=17 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=18 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=19 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=20 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=21 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=22 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=23 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=24 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=25 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=26 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=27 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=28 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=29 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=30 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=31 DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_SYNC DC10(old)[0]: jpg_sync() - timeout: codec isr=0x0b DC10(old)[0]: BUZIOC_QBUF_PLAY - frame=-1 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - wake GPIO=0x2f008888 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - sleep GPIO=0x2b008888 DC10(old)[0]: enable_jpg(IDLE) DC10(old)[0]: munmap(MJPEG) DC10(old)[0]: zoran_close(lavplay, pid=[19742]), users(+)=1 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - wake GPIO=0x2f008888 DC10(old)[0]: jpeg_codec_sleep() - sleep GPIO=0x2b008888 DC10(old)[0]: enable_jpg(IDLE) DC10(old)[0]: interrupts received: queue_state=0/0/2/32: no interrupts detected ------------------------------------------------ Sometimes it don't have to wait anything, and I get this answer : #lavplay -n 128 -p H -a 0 knot.avi **ERROR: [lavplay] Could not set on-screen window parameters (check framebuffer-params with v4l-conf): Invalid argument If any has an idea, how to manage the buffer, frame-buffer...
