I just got my zoran card working in Xawtv (almost).
There are a few problems:
1. When I try to capture or grab a screen, it fails.
2. When I try to run v4l-conf, it fails.
3. My main input on my card is the S-VIDEO input, but all the v4l programs use the COMPOSITE input by default.
For point 3, is there someway to set the default settings for the device so that all apps know automatically to use S-VIDEO?
For the other two problems (1 and 2) the error messages point at the same problem.
v4l-conf returns:
/dev/video0 [v4l2]: ioctl VIDIOC_QUERYCAP: Invalid argument
and
on grab, xawtv says:
ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(frame=0;height=480;width=640;format=4): Invalid argument
Does anyone have any advice on how to fix these problems,
