I have no idea what the problem is, but...
a) By "All Green" do you mean the output is a plain green picture,
or does the output simply have a greenish tint to it?

b) If you have yuvplay installed (it's part of mjpegtools), use it to
look at the output of each stage of the pipeline, to figure out
exactly where the 'green' is coming from:
lav2yuv ... | yuvplay
lav2yuv ... | yuvscaler ... | yuvplay
(etc.)
