Depends on the source.  Low quality stuff (like VHS capture) is
already fairly bandlimited spatially, so all you are removing is noise
for modest filter bandwidths.  Your typical (cheap) digital camcorder
doesn't really provide 720 pixels of horizontal resolution, so a
horizontal bandwidth of 0.7 or so is mostly harmless.  Either way the
effect is mild noise reduction, certainly much less than yuvdenoise
(there is much less redundancy to exploit spatially than temporally).

Once you start removing significant signal energy (with lower filter
bandwidths) then you start to get blurring.
