Most parts can be done with the MJPEGTools, I suppose, but what about the last two steps ? :-) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Thu, 19 Feb 2004 11:41:33 +0100 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: mpeg2enc
Good morning. I'm responsable of sw developement of GD SPA ITALY (company that produces automatic wrapping machine). We have to provide to our customers a DVD PAL slide show of some details of our machinery captured with an high resolution digital camera (jpeg format) and I'm evaluating different tools to do this. I mostly interested in high quality images (sharpen, not flickering, but also without blur effect) more than transition effects or audio background so I'd like still images rather than clip. For personal purpose I have used in the past VCDEASY (and in this manner I found your e-mail) and for this reason I'm wondering if the tools provided with it could be applicable in this case. I'm figured this sequence of step but I'm not sure that it is right: a) generally the jpeg images could not have a 4:3 aspect ratio so I have to crop them to this proportion b) the image has to be resize to a valid DVD resolution (but which one? 704x576 720x576) c) the image has to be converted in MPEG2 format (using VCDEASY is in VCD format I have seen that mpge2enc has a DVD format parameter -f 8 .....) d) a DVD file system has to be created c) burn it Could You help me please? Thanks in advance and sorry for having disturb. P.S if You would reply please use a plain text format (for securuty problems we have restriction...) or use my personal address: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
