mpeg2enc segfaulted on me. First time I've had that happen. It happened about 6 hours into encoding... I want to re-run the script/stream that caused this to happen for the purpose of getting enough information that someone might be able to debug it, but obviously with it taking 6 hours to reproduce I don't want to have to execute it too many times to get the needed information :-) So...I suppose I need to build it with debug information and such. Would someone mind giving me a list of steps I should go through to make sure I get the right information?
BTW...I'm only 'mostly' sure it was mpeg2enc that did it. I have exportvideo piping to yuvscaler piping to yuvdenoise and finally going into mpeg2enc. There was no core file produced. Changing a parameter on yuvdenoise made it get through, but I figure that doesn't mean it was yuvdenoise, but most certainly means it wasn't exportvideo or yuvscaler...gotta' be either yuvdenoise or mpeg2enc... I figure the minor change to yuvdenoise's command line probably changed its output just enough to let mpeg2enc get by. -- Ray ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
