Hello everyone!

I was wondering if there is a way to monitor the recording of video from an
Iomega BUZ.

So far the recordings I have done were up to me expectations although I'm
using a much dreaded VIA Chipset with it. (Must be dumb luck, I guess :) )
Very little frame drops (rarely than 100 per 2 hours or so and I suppose
those were due to synching trouble because the VHS tapes I recorded were
_old_).

The problem is now that I won't have a spare TV set to watch the progress in
future and I'd like to see when I have to stop the recording. (Timed stops
are not really an option)

I usually use lavrec to write a series of mjpeg AVI files to the harddisk so
giving lavrec a head start and open the AVIs a bit later with xine or so is
not really working.

Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

See ya,

Axel 'Anterion' Philipsenburg
