I record using one AverDVD (www.aver.com) pci. lavrec --software-encoding -f a -i N -g 352x480 -q 80 -s -l 80 -R l -U -t 7200 foo_movie%02d.avi ; lav2wav +n foo_movie0*.avi | mp2enc -v 2 -r 48000 -o foo_audio.mp2 ; lav2yuv +n foo_movie0*.avi | yuvdenoise -F -f | mpeg2enc -n n -f 8 -q 2 -P -I 0 -4 1 -2 1 -o foo_video.m2v ; mplex -f 8 foo_audio.mp2 foo_video.m2v -o dvd_movie%02d.mpg ; I want to know if are any other setting to optimize more my videos, I try to use 640x480 but when convert to mpeg2enc the compression are similar to the 352x480 settings.
