Hello... I upgraded my libquicktime version with the libquicktime-0.9.2-3.1.fc2.fr.rpm
Just the same error... about bad JPEG format: Executing: lavrec -i p -w -f q -d 1 -q 36 -a 16 -r 44100 -l -1 -R l -c 2 -t 100000 -T 1 -n 32 -b 256 -s --use-read --max-file-size 40000 /home/norik/Desktop/test.mov TO lavrec: FROM lavrec: Press enter to start recording> FROM lavrec: **ERROR: [lavrec] Error writing to output file /home/norik/Desktop/test.mov: Internal: broken JPEG format Lavrec error: [lavrec] Error writing to output file /home/norik/Desktop/test.mov: Internal: broken JPEG format FROM lavrec: ++ WARN: [lavrec] Closing file(s) and exiting - output file(s) my not be readable due to error FROM lavrec: Press enter to pause recording FROM lavrec: 0.00.00:00 int:169 lst: 0 ins: 0 del: 0 ae: 0 td1=0.000 td2FROM lavrec: FROM lavrec: Recording time : 0.00.00:00 FROM lavrec: Lost frames : 000 FROM lavrec: A/V sync ins/del: 000/000 FROM lavrec: Audio errors : 000 lavrec finished Thanks for using Linux Video Studio. About avi sequence... it is cool to record several avi files 0000001.avi 0000002.avi 0000003.avi But then when I convert them to mpeg2 and then join them (add to each other) with mpgtx mpgtx -j 1.mpg 2.mpg 3.mpg -o all.mpg There is dropped frames between for excample first and second parts... So, lavrec can't record sequence without frame loss... And it is bad... I don't know what should I do... Can't record 768x576 movies... for a long time...
