I checked with Mandrake Control Centre, and it was seeing the card, but it said that it needed the zr36067 module. I loaded that as well as all the others that were already listed, and now glav can play the avi files. I also have a GnomeMeeting icon on the desktop even when the webcam isn't plugged in, so all is looking good now. I'll try to get LVS installed today. Thanks for the help so far.
