Wow, that looks good. Might be very useful for improving DV camcorder recordings. The screencaps on this site show the typical consumer camcorder problems due to sub-optimal lighting conditions. The improved images look a bit over the top to me, but a more subtle setting might be quite an improvement for some recordings. And I'm amazed that pumping up the color saturation does not cause lots of CCD noise to appear. I guess the images were denoised as well?
Other than that: Time to introduce 'y4mautogain' I'd say.. :)
