        You might try upgrading to a newer libquicktime - current released
        version is 0.9.7.   If that still doesn't work then I suspect
        'streamer' might have a bug.

        True.   There are some features in the cvs version (0.9.8pre1) I'd
        like to use but I'll wait unti 0.9.8 is released.
