Hello,
it seems rare, that you can record but cannot display
with xawtv. I think it has to be a
xawtv-configuration problem. I suppose that if you
have struggled to record with lavrec, you have already
done what I will tell you, but just in case:
- Do you have more than one tv-cards?
- Have you chosen the proper input ( s-video,
composite )?
- Have you chosen the proper tv-type ( PAL,SECAM,NTSC
)?
If you say yes to all these questions, tell me and I
will keep thinking, because it must not be very
difficult to solve your problem.
