Hi Bernd, thanks for your quick answer. Here are more informations: - 1: Images for each input with lavrec -i P-s -g 720x576 -q 80 -t 36 -U -n 64 --software-encoding /testvideo_006.avi
lavrec -i p ... > green screen, little bit shaking, audio=ok lavrec -i P ... > blue screen, no movement, audio=ok lavrec -i t ... > b/w movie, audio=ok lavrec -i a ... > b/w movie, audio=ok - 2: Inputs of my TV card: motv television-input > red and grey colours, bit shaking motv composite1 input > blue screen, no movement motv svideo input > b/w movie motv composite3 > coloured movie!!! - 3: lsmod | grep vp ..... nothing happens So I would say, this is a bttv878 card. My problem sounds like: How can I tell lavrec to capture from composite3 input. By the way: With this TV-card I captured coloured movies some years ago with another PC and SuSE7.3 or 8.0 with broadcast2000 (12 f/sec, poor resolution, Quicktime, but coloured!). So the TV-card was able to talk to the PC with an older Suse System. For further information I attached the hwinfo of my PC (selected parts concerning bttv, "vpx" or "zoran" was not found in the whole hwinfo).
