Please excuse me for such a newbie question, but I couldn't find any information on this. I just got a DC30+ and I'm grabbing video at full quality, full res without any trouble & with zero dropped frames (even though it's a VIA motherboard!). What I haven't been able to figure out is how to capture sound. This isn't mentioned anywhere in the documentation. I'm assuming the onboard audio decoder isn't supported since I couldn't find a module for it. So I suppose the way to go is to use the soundcard. I tried connecting the onboard audio out jack to aux input on my soundcard, but I didn't get any sound. trying different pass_through values didn't help either. I'm guessing this is just for the video signal. Am I missing something?
By the way, I tried using the thirdparty Windows driver (mirosupport.de) and I get the sound on my mixer as soon as I enable the "audio loopback" checkbox in the driver control. There's also a "video loopback" there which apparently does the exact same thing as the pass_through module option. Help greatly appreciated!
