Thanks for your answer.
I was thinkung of this, therefore I also digitized from antenna and from DVBT.
The problem occures there, too. So video timing seems not to be the way to
solve the problem. My first thought was that something is fooling the sync
separator chip on the card to flip the odd/even signal too early or too late.
But now my brother (he also uses a DC30+) found that starting xawtv in
parallel to lavrec temporarily eliminates the problem. This makes me hope that
is is a software-thing to do. Maybe some mode-switch in the driver. Would be
the better place for the problem, because software is easier to fix than
hardware.

I have to do some checks for Ronald Bultje in this direction.
