Hi, first of all many thanks to Bernhard and Steven for their help about my last thread.
I'm still here with a question about lost frames. Stated that I probably need a signal stabilizer or such, what is the influence of number and size of mjpeg buffers on lost frames? Do I get more lost frames with more and bigger buffers? I would think so, but my experience is really puzzling me. And since I'm working with problematic tapes and equipment, it's hard for me to clearly see how lost frames depends on buffers number and size. Sorry if that's a trivial question! Best regards. PS It would be nice to have some hints about buffers in the howto, which just says "if you want you can play with...", but it doesn't say how. -- Andrea ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
