thanks a lot, no pb for the compilke, but the tool crashes on my PPC  
computer with this build (it certainly needs some other old stuff  
from the 1.7version)
My answer is not fast, because I tried to understand what was missing  
or else (without succes ;-))

sorry but I don't manage to use gdb to trace (it trace only thefirst  
pipe = the tool decoder)
just for info, a log from my system (maybe it can explain something  
to you?):

PS: just one think "strange" (for me), above you can see some .dylib  
from the system during the crash, but if I do
otool -L /Users/herve/MovieConverter/tools/yuvmotionfps
/Users/herve/MovieConverter/tools/yuvmotionfps:
         /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib (compatibility version 1.0.0,  
current version 88.1.9)

I can't see  "libmathCommon" (but maybe it's normal, I'm not a  
developper ;-))
