Dave brings out a good point. As I was reading some of the earlier
power/weight ratio posts, I was thinking about motorcycles.

My GLI is fun, but I wouldn't drag race with it. He's also right that
a veedub is good bang for the buck. To me, it's not worth it to mod it
up like crazy because I wouldn't get that much more out of it. Besides,
I've never timed myself 0-60 on my 17 year old Nighthawk, but I could
probably drop a 1.8T in my GLI and still not accelerate that fast.
(Anybody know how many hp an '83 650 puts out?)

My jetta is almost as fun as the bike, though (plus it has air-conditioning
and morons in dallas traffic can do less damage to me in it). Just depends
what kinda mood I'm in.

What's my point? I frequently have no point. It's part of my charm.
