"silver-tip" plugs. According to the local parts dude, the only advantage
to the multiple-electrode plugs is longer service life; no power gains.
Seems telling that VW ditched the 3-electrode design in favor of a single
when upping the motor from 1.8 to 2.0 in 1990-92. Anyone have any test
results of the different plug styles?
