Unless we have something we can use from a crashed UFO, no.  Teflon is just
plastic and wouldn't hold up.  One thing that reduces the friction in the
cylinder lining is to chrome plate them.  They do this on better aircraft
engines.  They aren't shiny like an old cadilac bumper, but they looked like
cracked glass.  The current is reversed in the chroming process to give the
cracked appearance.  This helps the oil stick to the cylinder walls.

Does anyone know if MB, BMW, or Porsche chromes the cylinders walls.
