As far as the Eurovan goes, I don't think we ever got the TDI over here. I have driven both the 5-cylinder and VR6 EVs, and honestly, I think the I-5 is better for the job. On another note, I personally prefer Vanagons. As much as I hate working on the damn things, I love driving them. The Waterboxer engine is a POS, but it moves the van along fine, and actually sounds good. Well, for a minivan, anyway. You really do sit up above everything, and while above/in front of the front wheels is strange at first, it's really nice once you get used to it. Makes parallel parking really easy. Anyway, they are the perfect roadtrip vehicle, and with the A3 2.0L conversion(available through Eurospec), they are awesome. And don't even get me started on how cool the Syncro versions are. I know there is at least one person on this list with a Vanagon... -Dave '91 GLI 16V (No family, so no need for a Vanagon...yet...) _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
