I don't know about all this, but with stock gears, in 5th 1000 RPM
translates to almost exactly 20mph.  So, good luck getting your 16V past
140! ;)  The "Big Mac" shape probably won't allow you to get going that
fast without some major power or aerodynamic tweaks.  My speedo was off by
about 8mph across the board (the PO screwed it up, i think)  and even with
it adjusted, it still gets off by a bit as speed increases.  I'm so used
to reading the tach that I notice it. ;)
