To make a long story short, while driving back from the ski hill
today some faulty tire chains managed to strip a 2x2 inch area of
body work down to bare metal (just passed the LF fender flare under
the trim). Having no experience painting cars (other than touch-up
jobs), I figured I'd try to get some advice.
Because the area is worn all the way to the metal, I figure I'll have
to sand it and apply something to prevent rust before painting it.
Any tips on what I need? Will standard auto parts houses have the
stuff?
