Remember Dave, the 1.7 used was VERY early and NOT the 2.2 used in the GLH
or GLHS. I thought the 1.7L was a Peugeot motor? Oh well, it's only been
about 20 years since they came out.

The Dodge Omni, etc, used a VW 1.7L engine. The way to tell the difference
is that the VW blocks have an "H" on the back, and the ones in the Chrysler
cars have "1.7" on the back. A swap could be done, but remember that the
Omni motor is mounted the other way...

The first time I rode in it was after all of the work.
