I AGREE! You want a real battery? Buy an Optima. I have 2 in the Jeep and
once left all the lights on for an entire business day in Blizzard
conditions in Detroit and did not even have to use the 2nd one to start it
(it didn't even turn over slow)! I also can drive the car (and have) off
the starter and not worry about the battery losing juice. Another nice
thing is that they are not a liquid acid, but a gel (much safer). I think
they also have an 8 or 10 year warranty. Enough said.

I have an Optima (rebadged as an Interstate) and it rocks. I left my car
out in the cold for two days during our recent NE snow incident. When I
went to start it up.. no problem. Started the first time. I have also
made my own 'Massive Overkill Wiring' system which might also be
helping. The only time I had a problem was when my Clifford alarm went
haywire and started draining the battery overnight (damn installers!). I
fixed the alarm problem and Interstate gave me a replacement battery and
eveything has been great since.
