Yeah, about 170 mph these days. The CONVERTABLE will do 160, claims Car
and Driver. Bear in mind that these things will break 13 seconds in the
quarter mile with no modifications. Quick by anyone's standards. Maybe
your friend just got a dog.
180 mph in a 944 sounds pretty crazy. A 944 Turbo tops out around 150-160
mph, and the extra power needed to get to 180 would be quite considerable.
An extra 20-30 mph of top speed would take some serious power upgrades.
What'd been done to it? WHERE could you do 180?
