well again correctly the VTEC and VARIABLE VALVE TIMING are two DIFFERENT
SYSTEMS ...BMW PORSHE NISSAN OR TOYOTA ....DO NOT USE IT....only HONDA has
the rights to manufacture it currently - can we say PATENTED. VARIABLE VALVE
TIMEING however is used by some of the affore mentioned vehicles. no offense
but i think you are confused as to wat the difference is. IF you read a bit
you ll see for instance the new 2001 honda motors will have BOTH systems so
obviously there is a diff and how they operate is a whole different story,
similiar concept.....they dont make power they simply move it around for the
most part, cept the V TEC in a sense..
