Sounds like Tina's A3 (from H&R). It has the S3 badges on it from the Charactre kit, even through it's really a chipped A3. She'll be moving back to Germany in a month or so and will putting the car up for sale. Apparently it is fully documented for US sale. She'll be removing the S3 badges soon, she says...

It was an Audi S3 1.8T with a Charactre body kit and Borbet deep dish 17" wheels (they looked a lot like TSW VX1 bulge wheels or whatever they are called). It also had Km/h only for the speedo and German plates. I thought that maybe it was the lady from H&R's car but hers is only an A3... plus her's had all these checkers on it when I saw it last time... anyways, I was totally drooling on the poor car. I wish that Honda hadn't so blatently copied the shape of that car 'cause it kind cheapens the look.
