The Good:

-2.0L 16 Valve DOHC 4 Cylinder engine, rated at 134 HP from the factory
-Recaro interior (Grey cloth seats, grey cloth/black leatherette door
panels. Very good condition, no tears or burns)
-Full color change to Ice Grey Violet. (trunk, under hood. The engine &
interior were in at the time, so there are some missed areas. NOT a show
car, but a nice looking car nonetheless)
-Shaved US front sidemarkers, clear euro sidemarkers installed in place of
factory Wolfsburg badges
-Power door locks, windows, mirrors (heated) and seats
-Delay wipers (factory fixed interval delay, no fancy programmable wiper
relay here...)
-Moonroof
-Cruise control
-German built 10/89
-Factory 10.1" brakes
-Genuine Hella quad round lighting
     80/100 W H4 headlights
     100W driving lights
     Bosch 30 Amp relays
-TechTonics aluminized cat-back exhaust system
-Garrett chip
-Hollow cat, have a functional stock cat to include with purchase
-Autotech lowering springs with Boge ProGas shocks
-Corrado G60 15" wheels with Dunlop SP8000 tires (summer)
-Factory 'Teardrop' 14 inch wheels with Dunlop Graspic HS-1 tires (winter)
-Newer alternator and battery
-Alarm
-Recent transfer and main fuel pumps
-Mono-wiper conversion
-Not installed but will include a power sunroof mechanism out of an older
Audi
-Not installed but will include a used (150K) 1.8 16V head. Disassembled,
but includes all parts.
-2 spare G60 wheels, slightly bent but repairable.

The Bad:

-Salvage title. I bought the car from a junkyard with moderate front end
damage and rebuilt it. It drives straight and is in fine shape now. More
details and pictures can be found at the website below, here's a direct
link:
http://gwis.com/~bhaney/my_ride.htm
-Cracked windshield (Not too bad, driver's side at the bottom about a foot
long. Doesn't intrude into the line of sight.)
-Frozen rear e-brake actuator = no e-brake for now. I've got two working
calipers from my old GTi to put on, but no time to do it.
-I'm pulling out all of the stereo equipment to put in my next car. I might
be able to throw a Pioneer cassette deck in if needed.
-Non-functional A/C. I've got a spare compressor, but I think the condenser
is leaking also.
-Sloppy Shifter (TM). Again, I've got a bushing kit but I haven't had the
time to install that either.
-Slight coolant leak, I think the plastic reservoir bottle is cracked and
leaking.

The reason for selling:

2000 GTI 1.8 Turbo. I want one badly, and that means the GLI has to
go. I've not been able to spend the amount of time on it that is needed to
properly maintain an older VW recently, and I'm ready for something a
little more maintenance free.

The price & location:

$3500 OBO. Kelley Blue Book stated the Retail value is $4530, but with the
salvage title I'm not expecting to get that much. Pricing from www.kbb.com.
Car is located in Lakewood, OH, just west of Cleveland.
