If the front wing window is anything like the wing windows of the back doors
of the Jettas (which I'm not sure if it is), then it is faily simple to
replace. Last year in January when I owned a '91 Jetta, someone broke in
through the rear wing window. I picked up a used one from a junkyard for $25
and replaced it myself. If I remember correctly, all you do is keep the main
window rolled down, take out all the seals, slide out the broken window, seal
and all, slide in the new windown with the seal, and replace the main window
sealing. Took me all of an hour, and I'm a very meticulous person so it had
to be PERFECT. The window did not leak and I didn't have any problems
(granted, that very same night, a guy in a Chevy van decided to run into my
car at a high speed!)
Hope that helps to give you an idea of what you're in for (not much of
anything, really).
