Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has helped with my cars
problem.. I pulled out my bentley manual this morning and did a little
trouble shooting and found that my Thermotime switch had failed. I did
replace this a little less than a year ago and it was a bosch part, oh
well I guess everything is bound to fail at one point or another. I also
checked around a bit more and found that the TEPO(The Evil Previous Owner)
had wired the Potentiometer located on top of the airbox 
incorrectly. I'll fix this tomorrow, this might be the cause of the car
loosing power when I floor it...


I read in some of the past posts of people talking about Mexican VW's I
couldnt agree more, If I was to do it all over again I'd go with the
German version. So far I'm at around $3K in repairs. I think TEPO might
have had something to do with my car too though....
