My girlfriend's uncle co-owned the 550A with the chasis number one higher (or lower?) than James Dean's. He sold his half to put his kids through college, but it was a beautiful car, and there are lots of pictures of him sitting in it and driving it (slowly on very sunny days). Now he "just" has a concours-perfect 356 speedster. He's on his 19th air-cooled Porsche, but he's also had lots of other cool classic european sportscars. He also has a couple of signed pictures of James Dean in various advertisements for spark plugs and other automotive paraphanalia. Lucky bastard.
