Got to agree with the part that they wear out prematurely. I installed them when I put my coilovers in. Less than 1k miles later and I'm getting a terrible sound from them with most every bump. Don't know the tolerance level of the bearing but if you are going with an extreme drop I recommend VR6 strut bearings.
Dave <<I was told by Velocity today, that the rubber on the G60 strut bearings has a slightly different bevel angle to it than the golf/jetta ones, which makes the weight distribution not so even, top to bottom. They recommended not using them on A2 cars, because they tend to wear out prematurely. Others say they work fine.
