I'm thinking about swapping a Corrado dash into my GTI as a project.
Anyone
on this list done it? I would like to know exactly what I need, price I
should expect to pay and what's involved. I almost picked one up at
waterfest last summer but since I didn't know exactly what to get, I backed
out. The guy wanted $100 for it w/o the glove box and knee bar. There's a
guy around town (NYC) who's done plenty of them but he might be pricey.
One
of the dash swaps he did was on a A2 VR6 at waterfest and it looks very
nice,
although it was from an A3. If it's not very hard, I would like to try it
myself rather than paying someone to do it.
So if anybody has done this recently or has detailed accounts, drop me an
email.
