Dick Shine is one of the coolest - most interesting - most knowledeable - and most conservative VW/Audi guys I have met in the last 13 years of living in a VW world. He gets around the racing scene enough to know what works and who kicks ass in a VW. I've seen cars in his Mass. shop that were trucked up from the Southeast - FAST SCCA IT cars. Theres a BEAUTIFUL big dollar BMW ITS car NER region car there now - BEAUTIFUL. They mess with street cars both in mailorder parts and in daily repairs to keep the roof overhead - ya know the VW racing customer base is not that big that you could support 4 FT paid staff on that alone.
