Hi Group,
How do you hook-up a remote starter to our cars? I mean
the kind you "bump" the engine while working on it, not
the start it from your house kind. I bought an Acrton
one with instructions for only American cars and it
scared me because most of the diagrams had you hook it
not to the starter solenoid but to various other places
in the harness. Anybody got any ideas?

If it's like the one I have, which is a simple switch with two wires and alligator clips, you connect one wire to the battery cable and the other to the solenoid wire. Press the switch, apply +12V to the solenoid, starter turns. Voila!
