Maybe some of you might want to try this next time.....

Buy a package of the clear plastic painter's tarp. It is around 3-6 mils
thick which I believe is
heavier than the original plastic liner and thinner and lighter than a
shower curtain.
Just cut it to fit.

Instead of all these different glues you fellas have been using try 3M
Carpet Tape.
This tape is a waterproof, double-sided tape used to hold down
indoor/outdoor carpet.
It is sticky as an SOB but does allow you to remove and re-attach the
plastic liner
without tearing it. I have used this and it has not leaked yet and for the
$10-$15 it
is worth it for the dry door panels and carpet.
