Maybe some of you might want to try this next time..... Buy a package of the clear plastic painter's tarp. It is around 3-6 mils thick which I believe is heavier than the original plastic liner and thinner and lighter than a shower curtain. Just cut it to fit.
Instead of all these different glues you fellas have been using try 3M Carpet Tape. This tape is a waterproof, double-sided tape used to hold down indoor/outdoor carpet. It is sticky as an SOB but does allow you to remove and re-attach the plastic liner without tearing it. I have used this and it has not leaked yet and for the $10-$15 it is worth it for the dry door panels and carpet.
