I was wondering if you guys could check your cars Air flow sensor plate
potentiometer to see which wire color goes in what order. A long time ago
when replacing my airfilter I forgot to disconnect my connector which goes
to the potentiometer. When I pulled the upper piece off the wires got pulled
out of the harness, I've since put them back in but really need to make sure
they are back in the proper place. [below is a picture of the place where
the harness plugs into on the airflow sensor potentiometer.]
For those who dont know the location of this, when you look at the engine
bay from the front of the car, the potentiometer is located on the left side
of the airbox. There is a plug which connects to the airflow sensor unit, I
need to know the order in which the wires connect. I've checked the Bentley
manual but the wires which it says my car should have isn't.
My car is a mexican built 1989 GTI 16V. If you can help me I'd really
appreciate it!
