As some of you may or may not know I have an 88 GLI that I bought with rear end damage for $800. All kinda new parts and mods so i thought it was worth it, if anything, for the parts. Took it around to get it fixed and the lowest price I got was 3000 plus paint. And parting it out came across my mind but now I am working 6-7 days a week and have no time to do that. After looking all over the east coast I found a 1990 GLI with only 61,000 miles on it for $4,000! OAnd its only 5 miles from my house. Well the guy was interested in my car for parts. I need nothing for his car that it doesnt already have. So we worked out a deal.I'm giving him my car and 3250 for his car. Only lost 50 bucks on it. Picking it up in the next few weeks. So I am sure I will be back on the board again with lots of questions. (I'm still kinda new to all this)
