i second the "all of them". its really hard--probably impossible--to use the activ system without the amplifiers. you would have to do some sort of custom rewire to make sure each speaker got the proper lead and a ground....and in that case, you might as well rewire everything. it really isnt that hard, and its a much cleaner and more thorough job. you only need to take the "roof" off of the drivers footwell to fish the cables in there. you can shove a stiffish wire down the dash speaker holes (if youre using them) and have them go all the way to the floor.
