I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me advice about how to remove the thermosat. I used PB blaster and tapped the bolt heads with a good size punch. I didn't have any problem removing the themostat bolts at all. I like it when things don't break. The car runs much cooler with the new (red) coolant, redline watter wetter, and the low temp thermostat.
