A good friend of mine, Billy Tylaska, (I'm sure some of you know him from Vortex) is making 300 wheel hp with many improvements still to be made. He drives the car daily and just recently made a trip to Florida and back with zero problems. He is still running the stock engine management with is a limiting factor and he is drive-by-wire. I will be using full stand-alone engine management and have the advantage of a regular throttle body. APR already has a stage 3 300 hp kit available for the throttle body motors. It has already been proven that the 1.8T motor can make 300 crank hp. The question is can it handle 400hp?? Hopefully we will know very soon.
