Of the super-cheap exhaust systems (TT, eurosport, etc) which has the best
fitment? The exhaust on my girlfriend's '86 8v scirocco is pretty useless
(and cracked in half now), and needs replacement. She only drives the car
around town, so noise isn't an issue, really. I'm inclined to just buy the
$165 el-cheapo system from TT.
I may also buy a system for the GTI at the same time. The GTI DOES get
driven on longer trips. Is the TT system with the borla muffler
acceptable? How about the dynomax muffler? FWIW, the Eurosport system on
my Jetta was tolerable and the Brospeed system was too quiet, so anywhere
in that range is fine.
