The velocity kit consists of just a few washers and a tool to install them. Basically it just increases the spring tension that already exists in the stock diff. It works pretty well imho, much better than not having anything at all. It's worth the price, but if you can try to order it from gary peloquin. He's the one that makes the kits and sells them to velocity, and it's only $80us from him, instead of $125us. Advantages? same advantages as a full limited slip diff. Disadvantages? more torque steer when you get on the juice in a corner. That comes with any diff though. I've driven matt's car with a quaife, and the quaife works much better. It better for how much they cost! :) However the velocity kit is still worth the price. _____________ List Sponsor: http://www.netsville.com To remove yourself from this list, send mail to [email protected] with 'unsubscribe a2_16v' in the body of your message See us on the web at http://www.a2-16v.com Visit the 16V Homepage at http://www.gti16v.org
