Since you'll have to pull them off to get the half-shafts out, it
would be a good time to make sure the ball joints are in good shape.
And, since the ball joints are out, checking the strut bearings would
be a good idea, too. Anti-roll bar bushings while you're in there.
Check the brake pads, install braided stainless brake lines, paint
the whole underbody (OK, getting carried away:-}).
