I think what he was TRYING to say was that a soft cranium hitting a steel tube doesn't work out so well on the road. AND, installing a cage in a manner not intended could cause it to fail, pushing those hard bars INTO your head. On the race track, you wear a helmet. I don't plan on putting a cage into ANY vehicle I drive until I can wear a helmet every time I get in the car.
