I too have broken a belt on a 16V Rocco while it was idling at a light, nothing was wrong but the belt, I pushed it into a parking lot, swapped the belt I had with me in the trunk, and it was no big deal. I decided if they WERE bent, it wouldnt hurt to try anyway. Altho, I have broken a belt in a 931 before and it DID bend all 8 valves,.....
