Go to another dealer, both parts are in the microfiche.
- thermo-pneumatic valve is 058 131 851 A (You need the correct coolant
flange on the driver side of the head to bolt this one)
- temperature sensor is 051 919 529 (bolts to the intake manifold)
I assume you have the EGR and Vacuum amplifyer because if they do look,
these are the two items they will be looking for.

Hey Guys,
Please help a fellow dubber out. I am putting a 2.0 16v motor back together
that I got in pieces. The sensors are all missing and the local VW dealer is
no help. I need to have the part #s for the air temp sensor that goes into
the intake manifold and the vacuum switch that controls the EGR valve. Both
of these are for the EGR system on a California car. I think and hope the
part #s are on these items.I have to have them to at least pass the visual
inspection for smog. When the car was converted they put EGR on the door
jamb sticker.
